  • Sat., June 11 –JOIN OUR TEEN SUMMER READING CLUB!
    10 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.

Fairyland Cosplay Tea Party with Catherynne Valente!

Extra special thanks to the fabulous Catherynne Valente, Feiwel & Friends Books, and Trader Joe’s Encino for making our tea party possible!

Author Catherynne Valente and actor Frank Romeo did a fabulous reading from Valente’s Andre Norton Award-winning book, The Girl Who Circumnavigated Fairyland in a Ship of Her Own Making.

Participants were also given fairy kisses (glitter tattoos) and could make their own fairy wands!

Join us for Teen Movie Night @ the Encino-Tarzana Library!

  • Thu., May 5 – TEEN MOVIE NIGHT!*
    4– 6:30 p.m.
    Join us for our first teen movie night at the library, featuring “Nacho Libre!” Refreshments will be served. Co-sponsored by the Friends of the Encino-Tarzana Library
  • Sat., May 7 – Student Smart: SAT Practice Exam*
    10 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
    The Princeton Review administers the full length practice exam for FREE. You may want to bring a calculator and a snack. Spaces are limited, so call to reserve your seat NOW!
  • Thu., May 12 – Fairyland Cosplay Tea Party with CAT VALENTE!*
    4 – 5:30 p.m.
    Teens, tweens, kids and parents are invited to join us for an all ages fairyland tea party featuring author CAT VALENTE. Don’t forget your wings! Co-sponsored by Feiwel & Friends & Trader Joe’s Encino
